| Jawas are short, filthy creatures that inhabit the planet Tatooine. They are junk dealers by nature. They wander the desert in hopes of coming across a crashed vehicle or a lost droid. To them, gadgets are treasures, and once they find one they fix it up and sell it at the first opportunity. Some Jawas of the Du'Nab tribe decided to rent a spot to set up shop at The Race. They brought some droids and gadgets such as electrobinoculars for the spectators to better see The Race. Before The Race began, the Jetpack Stormtrooper falsely started and crashed near the Du'Nab tribe. They immediately searched the area for shards of the destroyed jetpack. Then The Race began, and all but Jekk Porkins' vehicle crashed. The Jawas scattered and rounded up the remaining parts of the vehicles. By the end of The Race they were completely sold out. Before they left the stadium they noticed that the winner of The Race, Jekk Porkins, was stuck in his vehicle and couldn't get his medal. They tried to take the medal from the princess that held it, but she kicked them and they went away. They left the stadium in a good mood, anyway. They quickly made their way to Mos Espa and bought a hyperdrive for their sandcrawler. Unfortunately, they are still trying to figure out where the hyperdrive lever is in their cockpit. |
