Purcell MP (Labour Party) - Bulimba
to Kim Bax (Mum), received
on the 17th February 2004:-
(Note from Kim Bax. On the morning of 17th Feb. 2004, I emailed Mr. Purcell again - reminding him that he still hadn't responded to my questions of 22nd January 2004. This was because I had received an email from one of his constituents).
Dear Ms. Bax
Thankyou for your email.
I have no record of receiving either mailed correspondence or emailed
correspondence from yourself. Consequently, we would not have been
able to respond. You are more than welcome to re-submit your
original correspondence either by mail, fax or email and I will
certainly address the issue.
thanking you

Response to Pat
Purcell MP, from Kim
Bax (Mum) - sent on the 17th February 2004:-
Hullo again,
I can assure you that every member of the Parliament was emailed with
my questions on the 22nd January 2004 - in fact, I have a computer
record of the email that was sent to you (in my "sent"
items). It was forwarded to you on that day at exactly 11.13am
(and 39 seconds). Here's part of that record:-
"From: Kim
Bax
Date: 01/22/04 11:13:39
Subject: Seatbelts on school buses"
If you go to my website:-
You will see that almost at the top of the front
page, there's a picture of Queensland children crammed into a
school bus. If you click on that picture (as the adjoining
text says), you will be taken to the correspondence in question.
I would appreciate a response.
Regards - Kim Bax
PS - perhaps the efficiency (or otherwise), of your
mail system needs to be investigated.
PPS - I will post this correspondence to my site
to-day.
