SO WHO IS IN MADRUGADA AND WHAT DOES EACH MEMBER DO?
Robert guitar player songwriter, Sivert vocalist songwriter, Frode bass player songwriter, Simen plays drums
HOW DID YOU ALL MEET AND COME TO FORM A BAND TOGETHER?
We met through music, and felt we had something great here, been in other bands before the core of madrugada: me, sivert and frode got together in 95', but  we�ve had a new drummer now for two years - Simen Vangen. The first drummer was Jon l. Pettersen who also started the band together with frode.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE OF MUSIC?
Rock music. The last I heard when someone tried to describe our music was, if leonard coen sang in a rock band....
WHO ARE YOUR INFLUENCES?
Dylan, Stones, velvets, the blues(muddy waters, elmore james)
WHERE DID THE NAME MADRUGADA COME FROM?
A friend of us called �ystein Wingaard Wolf
WILL YOU BE PLAYING ANY OF THE SUMMER FESTIVALS?

Different everytime, trying to make it exciting, moody and intense

Everything, it depends how good the song is. Writing is fantastic when you feel you got something special going on, then recording is like lets try this amazing sound here, and then playing live is like extra energy
WHAT ARE YOUR OPINIONS OF THE CURRENT RECORD BUYING PUBLIC?
They should buy vinyl, it's so beautiful with vinyl.
WHAT FIRST MADE YOU WANT TO PICK UP A GUITAR AND JOIN/FORM A BAND?
When my father played guitar boogie for me when I was 6 or 7, and heard the intro to jailhouse rock performed by elvis presley around the same time
WHAT IS YOUR ADVICE FOR ANYONE THINKING ABOUT STARTING UP A BAND?
Just mean it.
