South Western Turkey Dressing

Ingredients:
 
1 package of Cornbread croutons
1 package of Cornbread seasoned croutons
1 white onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 cup chopped celery
1 package powdered sage
1 package of walnuts
1 package of pecans
1 package of sliced almonds
2 cans of evaporated milk
2 cans of chicken broth
1 teaspoon of black pepper
1/2 cup of butter or margarine
1 turkey neck (deboned & chopped)
1 turkey gizzard, chopped
1 turkey liver, chopped

 
Directions:
 
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
 
Place all the dry ingredients in a foil tray and mix thoroughly.
 
Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, celery, and sage and mix well.
 
Add the chopped turkey giblets and mix well. 
 
Add the evaporated milk and the chicken broth, mix well. The mixture should be very soggy now.
 
Add the chopped walnuts, pecans, and the sliced almonds, mix well and level the mixture in the pan.
 
Add butter in spoonfuls or cut margarine slices over the mixture.

Place in oven for 30 to 40 minutes until golden brown.
