Halloween Peanut Butter
and Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients:
 
1 (17.5 oz.) package Funfetti Halloween Sugar Cookie Mix
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 large egg
1 tablespoon water
1/3 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup finely chopped peanuts, divided
2/3 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
60 foil-wrapped milk chocolate pieces, unwrapped

 
Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Combine the cookie mix, butter, egg and water in medium bowl and mix until soft dough forms. Stir in the chocolate chips and a 1/3 cup chopped peanuts.

Use rounded measuring teaspoons of dough to make 3/4-inch balls. Roll in remaining chopped peanuts and place on a cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown. Remove cookies from the oven and spoon a scant 1/2 teaspoon peanut butter on top of warm cookie.Caution must be taken not to burn yourself on the hot cookie sheet!

Press chocolate piece onto peanut butter and repeat with remaining cookies.

Transfer the cookies to a wire rack and let cool to allow chocolate to set.
