Crock Pot Roast

Ingredients:
1 beef roast 2-4 #
1 can beef broth
Several small potatoes, peeled & cut into pieces.
Carrot - 1 small package if you like cooked carrots
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons onion soup mix (another flavoring stand by- keeps well in glass jar, with tight lid)
Directions:
Put roast in crock pot. Season to taste with salt &
pepper.
Add 1/4 cupwater and onion soup mix.
Cook on low all day.
Put
potatoes and carrots in pan with beef broth on stove and cook until done
(about 15-20 minutes).
Check with fork for doneness. Carrots should be
tender and crisp.
Serve with salad or veggies and bread.
Great easy meal! Leftovers can go back into crock pot with frozen mixed veggies to make a great soup.
