Pumpkin Waffles

I included pumpkin waffles to go with the
pumpkin pancakes one Thanksgiving morning and they were a big hit. Now they are part of my family's Thanksgiving tradition.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice (or 1 teaspoon each of cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg)
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 2/3 cup milk
1/4 cup oil
Directions:
Mix the dry ingredients together first in a mixing bowl then mix the wet ingredients together in a second mixing bowl.
Fold the mixtures together until they are completely blended together.
Heat a waffle iron, and cook 1/4 cup of batter at a time.
Serve warm and watch them disappear off the plates!
