
Pinch of salt
85g/3oz butter, cut into cubes
A little water
2 back rashers (British style back bacon), chopped
4 mushrooms, sliced
2 eggs
200ml/7 fl oz milk
Salt, pepper
50g/2oz grated cheese
Sieve the flour and salt into a bowl and rub in the butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
Add enough water to make a stiff dough, roll out the pastry and line a flan dish.
Fry the bacon and mushrooms, allow to cool then arrange them on the bottom of the dish.
Mix the eggs, milk, salt and pepper together an pour into the dish.
Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 mins.
