These are easy to make and are the perfect grand finale to any summertime party. Each fry is filled with red, white and blue deliciousness, bursting with fresh fruit flavors.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup apple pie filling
1/2 cup cherry pie filling
1/2 cup blueberry pie filling
3 boxes of your favorite brand refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on boxes
1 egg, beaten
Red, white, and blue coarse sugar crystals
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Water
Red and blue food color

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line large cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper.

Crush, process, or blend each of the pie fillings until semi-smooth and spreadable.

Unroll the pie crusts and spread each flavor pie filling onto each of the 3 crusts. Top each with one of the remaining pie crusts, gently pressing the edges to seal. (remember what color / flavor is in each one!)

Brush the beaten egg evenly over top of each of the pie crusts and sprinkle with their matching color sugar crystals.

Cut each of the filled pie crust stack into 1 inch wide strips with a pizza cutter, making sure the edges of the cut pieces are sealed.

Cut each strip once crosswise and place them in single layer on the cookie sheet.

Bake for about 20 minutes or until they are a light golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack and let cool to room temperature.

While they are cooling, stir together 1/2 cup of the powdered sugar with a few drops of water
in 3 separate bowls, stirring just until smooth and thick.

Leave 1 bowl with white dipping glaze. To make blue and red dipping glazes, stir a few drops of blue and red food color into each of the 2 remaining glazes.

After your fries cool let the dipping begin!
