
2oz mixed (50g) Mixed Vegetables (Use uncooked, fresh vegetables)
½ cup of rice
¼ pt (150 ml) Water
Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces.
Wash, peel and chop the mixed vegetables into small pieces.
Simmer the chicken and vegetables in the water for 20-30 minutes, until tender. Drain and save the stock.
Cook the rice in boiling water for 12-15 minutes. Strain it in a sieve and pour boiling water through the rice to remove excess starch.
Mix the chicken, rice and vegetables together, add a little stock to moisten.
Mash the mixture with a fork or potato masher until it reaches a soft, moist consistency, or the mixture can be pureed in a blender or food processor. Extra stock can be added while the mixture is being processed if needed to keep the mixture in a soft and moist.
