Apple & Squash Purée
(for babies from 4-6 months)

Ingredients:
1 apple, peeled, cored, and diced
1 inch slice butternut squash, peeled and diced
Directions:
Put the butternut squash into a small pan with some water, cover and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Add the apple and cook for another 3-5 minutes or until the butternut squash is soft.
Drain the cooking liquid into a cup and purée the apple with squash,
adding some of the cooking liquid to get the desired consistency.
