Crock Pot Chicken

Ingredients:
 
1 whole Chicken
Salt & Pepper
1/4 cup of Water
 
Directions:

Rinse whole chicken and place in crock pot.
 
Salt & pepper to taste.
 
Add 1/4 cup water, cook on low setting all day.
 
Chicken will fall off bone & be tender.
 
You can add spices to your liking - a small bit of rosemary or sage etc.

Variation:


Use chicken parts, breasts, legs or thighs or all of them.

Add mushrooms & cream of mushroom soup- l can. Add 1/2 soup can water. Cook on low til you get home from school or work. Serve with salad and rolls. Makes a good quick meal. Add side veggie if desired.

2nd Variation:

Use bbq sauce, or salsa instead of mushrooms & mushroom soup - this recipe is easy to change to your liking.
