The Trestle

Nice place to hang out if you can avoid falling through.

This is the old trestle that once actually carried trains.  Now, they don't want you to even walk across it, but everybody does.  Its main purpose, though, is to divide the "upper" and "lower" lake.  Not much of a purpose, is it?  This shot was taken from the unofficial but wildly popular boat launch area.  Well, it used to be unofficial, but it is so popular, they decided to give up and go with the anglers.  You can fish from here when there aren't any boats around.  In fact, it is the most accessible spot on the entire lake unless you want to sit way too close to a road.  It's possible to nab nice channel cats, bluegill, small- and large-mouth bass, and even some carp and crappie. That's just about everything in the lake.
