Second Hole

These are two views of what my fishing buddies and I refer to as the "2nd Hole".  We consider right under the Dam as the 1st, so this is just the next wide opening in the river afterwards.  There are some nice bass in here and springtime is always good for a few gar that move up from down the river.  Those gar are neat critters - kind of like a croc or gator with no legs.  Unless you get too close, then they try to take yours.  Nothing like catching fish that can inflict mortal wounds.  Well, potentially mortal if they get infected.
