The Dam

Pretty self-explanatory, huh?  This is the dam.  Its purpose is to hold back the water that makes up the lake.  There, I explained it anyway.  There's some good fishing at times below the dam, as long as the water is flowing.  This pic was taken while the water was at a decent level.  It's not unusual for it to miss going over the dam by a foot or more.  That's not good for fishing or anything else that requires water.  It's not just tough to get here in a wheelchair, it's "dam" near impossible.  (Sorry, had to say it.)  It's quite unfortunate that they do not build these things in parking lots or around some other smooth surface.
