The Tooth is Out There
Stamps Used:
Head Scratcher, Six Looking Up, Tooth: Rubber Stamps of America
Group of four people (partial image of larger stamp): Delafield
Southwestern background, ground texture, two smaller cacti: Beeswax
Larger Cactus: Art Impressions
Helicopter and Star Burst: ImaginAir Designs
Boulders: Joan Wear Designs
How it was Done:
I usually use Memories permanent dye ink because it gives a nice, strong black color that will not run if you color in your scene using watercolors or markers.  I also used a stamp positioner for almost every image in this scene.

1.  Stamp head scratcher, mask.

2.  Stamp tooth, mask.

3.  Stamp large cactus, mask.

4.  Color in four of the people on the Delafield group of people, stamp just behind head scratcher.  Mask them individually.  This image was a real pain to mask (look at those skinny legs!) but it is worth it.

5.  Stamp boulders, mask.

6.  Stamp skinny cactus next to boulders, mask.

7.  Stamp prickly pear cactus near large cactus, mask.

8.  Stamp image of smaller sized people, mask them too (another tricky mask to cut out).

9.  Stamp star burst directly behind tooth (you really need a stamp positioner for this one).

10. Stamp southwestern background.

11. Stamp ground texture.

12. With masks in place, use chalk to color the sky and ground.

13. Remove masks and color in your scene with colored pencils or as desired.

14. The dots around the tooth and star burst were added using a gel ink pen to make them stand out more.
