Lesson Six Quick and Easy Scenes
Alright, I can hear some of you saying, "This scene stuff is great, but I don't have alot of time to spend on making a card for Uncle Fred." Not to worry! There are plenty of stamps that create a whole scene for you. Take a look at some examples:

This pretty lighthouse scene is all one stamp from Joan Wear Designs. All I did was stamp in black Memories ink and color it in using watercolor pencils, chalk and a Dove Blender pen.
I love the challenge of creating a scene in my mind, then getting it exactly the way I want it on paper. But sometimes there just isn't time for an intricate scene using lots of different stamps. Luckily, there are many companies that sell large, complete scenes, perfect for making a quick and beautiful scenic card. So you see, scenic stamping can be as easy or complex as you want it to be. And I, for one, wouldn't dream of breathing a word to Uncle Fred!

This is also all one stamp - a stained glass design by The Stamp Pad (you can find their stamps at The Stampin' Place - check the links section). I colored it using regular pencils, and chalk for the sky. Just mount the colored image on cardstock and voila! A quick and easy scenic card.

This charming Christmas scene was made with only two stamps (Art Impressions) - Santa, and the village. I stamped and masked Santa, then stamped the village, using a stamp positioner to get it exactly where I wanted it to be. I colored with regular colored pencils, used chalk for the sky (I masked the village skyline first), and white gel pen for the stars.
