| The Real Reason Darvin Is Dejected |

| I usually use Memories brand permanent dye ink because it gives a nice, strong black color that will not run if you color using watercolors or markers. This scene was stamped using black ink. 1. Stamp image of Robed Woman 2. Mask woman, then stamp Dejected Darvin 3. Stamp castle 4. Mask castle, then stamp mountains 5. Stamp trees to the left of the woman 6. Mask trees from step 5 7. With all masks in place, stamp grass, rocks and remaining trees 8. This scene was colored using regular colored pencils. Use the shaded areas of the stamps (such as the folds of the woman's robe, or the underside of Darvin's thigh) as guides for where to use a slightly darker color, to aid in creating depth in your coloring. |
