This is a picture of Sarah's maternal great grandfather, Dr. W.H. Morris and great grandmother Mary J. Morris. Dr. Morris was born in Monmouth County New Jersey in 1834.
He moved to Linn County Iowa and graduated from Keokuk Medical College during the Civil War in 1864. He died in 1901 and is buried near Kingman, Kansas in the the Walnut Hill Cemetary in an unmarked grave. His family went through some very difficult times before his death.
