"The Road to Perdition" is a beautifully shot and wonderfully acted yarn which began with a slow pace but eventually captivated me and involved me with its intriguing premise. Hanks gives a great performance, but Newman is barely in it. I was surprised by the lack of dialogue in the film, but I was impressed by its amazing direction from Mendes. My favorite part of the film was its surprising and shocking ending and my favorite character was Maguire (Jude Law) who "shoots the dead".
