He does and says what he wishes to, seeing as he doesn't believe that anything exists, anyhow. People often make him angry, but he is rather good at getting his way. Aidan is one more member of the Six, a special group of people destined to fight an evil that has persisted since the beginning of Earth's existence. Using his Orb of Fire, he travels to the World of Vice with the others to save everything. Amusedly, though, he doesn't believe that anything he is doing has any significance. Rather, he is along for the ride, and his girlfriend, Melanthe, who holds the Orb of Darkness. The two have similar beliefs and love each other very much. Aidan's careless and powerful views against the most basic of beliefs - mere existence - cause Hope to doubt everything she thinks she knows. She learns of charged emotions and strong beliefs from Aidan. Without him, perhaps, Hope would not learn the great doubtfulness that causes her to open her mind or the strong will that causes her to persist in the most difficult of times. Despite Aidan's cynicism, rashness, and other faults, he, in his own way, is essential to Hope's progress as a fighter. He, too, must aid in the destruction of the World of Vice...
