Spectacularly bad blaxploitation flick, starring Jim Brown as Slaughter, the wronged brother who heads out to South America in his dangerously tight trousers to avenge the car bombing of his family. Well, it could be South America or it could just be a film producers ranch in Nevada, the head villain seems to have an Italian name and a periodically Brooklyn accent anyway.

This film is one of those true gems which are so earnest yet utterly laughable that the first viewing is hilarious. Featuring dialogue such as You dumb bitch, I coulda killed yo ass (delivered to a chick hiding in his apartment quite why she got all naked is never explained. Nor should it be), a strange distorted lens for any fist fights and a cracking title song,
Slaughter will consistently have you rolling on the floor laughing.

Priceless moments include the cowardly lackey who the bad guy kills opting not only to try and escape through the locked door across the courtyard instead of the blatantly open exit to the left of the screen, but then giving up and trying to scale a 10 foot fence. Obviously youre not really going to have any reason to watch it more than once, but a great one-shot vid to watch with friends.
