I recently watched this little horror film (on my pc) by Rob Zombie and can honestly say it was absolute rubbish. Sure if youve seen no other horror films, this might be good, but I myself have seen my fair share of and this looks really dated and, well, not scary. At all. It's a film about a bunch of idiot teenagers who break down and stop of at a house full of mental cases and a few dead bodies too. Original.

I once heard this film was one of the goriest films ever, however when I saw it it lacked blood, and only showed you snippets of it. This was used well in such horror films as
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but this film seems to thinks its wild and wacky, so the lack of blood is a let down. There are some good scenes though, like the end scene, with the girl running away from the big beast thing!

This film really wants to be good, it tries to go back to the old way of horror in the seventies - which it achieves in a way, that way being that it has ripped off all the other films back then!

Dont see this film. You want a recent horror film to watch?  Watch Eli Roth's
Cabin Fever. Want a good seventies-feel horror movie? Go get The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Want a gory film? Braindeads your answer. Want an average horror film, with no thrills or originality? See this.
