Boys with toys is probably the best words to describe this latest film by Rob Cohen. If fast, tuned-up cars are your cup of tea then this film will be superb. To be honest, it is not exactly my cup of anything, but there were some good parts.
Paul Walker stars as an undercover cop (which only became apparent a fair way through the film) trying to bust a group of street racers who are suspected of a series of high speed raids on trucks. As he gets involved deeper with the gang, and by that I mean falls in love with one of the girls (doesn't that always happen?!) he begins to realise that he is onto something that could be a lot worse than he anticipated.
In conclusion, just because nothing more needs to be said: very fast cars, dodgy acting, passable plot, some breathtaking scenes and an entertaining couple of hours. |
