| * Ase Ravine (Ase Keikoku) is located in Hidaka Town, the next town south of Toyooka. (Click here to see a map of Tajima) From the apartment, it's about a 25 minute drive away. It's a beautiful ravine accessible to hikers, and it features a several-kilometer hiking path, as well as a number of waterfalls and natural pools. This is definitely one of my favorite places in Tajima! It's a great place to go during summer; bring a bathing suit, towel, and walking sandals or shoes! |
