A Public High School in Bell Ville,Province of Córdoba , IPEM 290 General Manuel Belgrano is the only one in the area which mayors in Social Communication,

 The Specialization Cycle is formed as follows: Fourth Year, Graphic Production; Fifth Year, Radio Production; and Sixth Year, Audiovisual production..

*The main problem is set on the last two years of study due to the lack of technical elements. Thus, our objective that students can operate a radio and produce programs would not be accomplished in the Specialization Cycle. We also have to bear in mind that one of the most important objectives is that students are able to operate a radio and produce programs.

 Teachers bring theory into the classes, but educational experience teaches that something is  really learnt when knowledge is put to work, when an educational sequence is fulfilled.

Journalistic Projects and radio programs give the institution a sense of belonging and identity. And these projects are opportunities to enhance group engagements which also give the school a meaning as regards the social aspect.

Its amazing to discover how and how much contents of different subjects can be related, Investigation is fostered, students learn to synthesize, to remake texts, to practice the oral language, to classify and give priority to news, to communicate ideas, points of view and feelings.

The Government of the Province of Cordoba  has chosen the Projects On READING COMPREHENSION as one of the Main Institutional Projects which was elaborated by teachers of this school and put in force in all the courses. This achievement is highly important for our institution whose mayor is in Social Communication, since people who understands best will decipher the messages given by the media.

IN Bell Ville and surrounded area there is about 20 FM radio Stations ,they offer job opportunities for graduated students.

The direct beneficiary populations are school students(about 300). Journalist Rotarians will be also involved in the project teaching the students about professional issues and particulary  ethics issues in his proffesion

OBJECTIVES.

* To provide a school radio, in order to broadcast the main news from School and the Community near the school.

* To make it possible that this radio spreads beyond the school limits and get to the people.

*To get the students to improve the handling of language through the exposition of different subjects and learn how to adapt the language to the different communicative situations.

*To conduct training so as students are able to enter the job market.
