ZACATECAS - JEREZ - SAN ANTONIO 2003
In March 2003 we went to McAllen, Texas to visit an old friend Ron used to work with. From there we drove to his home town of Zacatecas to visit his relatives. Zacatecas is located on the continental divide in the Northern high desert. It is a very old city, some of the buildings dating to the mid 16th century.

city in North America. It is named for a tribe that inhabited the area.

Jerez is a smaller, but equally charming, town about
45 minutes from Zacatecas
