This was U2's second album. This album was a big
struggle for the band. In that time they had to make the disision
to carry on with U2 or stop. Adam wanted to continue, the rest
didn't knew it at that moment.
Becouse of the tours the really had a lack of time. They had only
3 weeks to prepare this record. In Gloria Bono sings:
" I try to sing this song.", and that is literally what
he was doing as he made up the words while he was standing at the
microphone.
For U2 was October a disappointing follow-up to Boy, but it was
still a good step in the right direction.
The song Tomorrow was a hyme for Bono's late mother.
