  • Contributed to development of a Low Memory Device Synthesizer (LMDS) for Simputer enabling speech synthesis for Indian Languages (currently Hindi and Telugu).
  • Developed a News Reader Software for reading out latest news from Hindi News Websites with speech output capabilities.
  • Contributed to development of a Generic Unrestricted Domain Synthesizer for Indian Languages using Syllable level Unit Selection & Concatenation on lines of the Limited Domain Synthesizer.
  • Contributed to development of a Generic Limited Domain Synthesizer for Indian Languages based on Syllable level Unit Selection.
  • Adapted a Talking Tourist Aid Application for Hindi and Telugu to use the above speech synthesizers and ported it to Simputer.
  • Adapted a Talking Clock Application for Hindi and Telugu to use the above speech synthesizers and ported it to Simputer.
  • Developed a Computing Time Companion - Deepti an Intelligent Hindi Speaking Chatbot with speech out capability using diphone databases as a team member of a senior’s major project. Please see: http://deepti.nourl.org/
  • Developed a chat room application primarily on Linux using GTK+ interfaces.
  • Developed a simulator for various CPU scheduling algorithms with GUI.
  • Developed a Database Locking Handler as a concurrency management application implementing Shared and Exclusive Locking and Deadlock Detection.
  • Adapted a speaker recognition algorithm for use in speaker identification through telephones as the software component of major project of one of my seniors.
  • Developed an STL file viewer involving 3D graphics with hidden surface removal, solid filling and capabilities of 3D rotation, translation and scaling.
  • Developed Trans - an interpreter for a fictitious language as a semester project.
  • Developed an Extended version of Tic-Tac-Toe – TicTac++ for DOS with computer playing ability.
  • Developed a Geometric Drawing Coordinates to Solid Coordinates converter with wire frame Solid Display capability given the front, top and side views.
