Guelph 10 RMC 0     stats

The Paladins were trounced by the Guelph Gryphons 10-0 in the second game of the weekend.   Elliot Mould got the start but was yakned in the second after giving up 5 goals when he was replaced by Blair Robertson at the 19 minute mark in the second.  RMC was outshot 42-30 going 0 for 5 on the powerplay while giving up 2 powerplay goals in 7 shorthanded situations.

Laurier 6 RMC 3    stats

In their home opener the Paladins droped a tough 6-3 game against Laurier.  In a wide open game which featured a lot of fiestiness and lots of shots the Golen Hawks outshot RMC 44-26.  Rookie Blair Robertson, formerly of the Quensel Millionaires of the BCJHL, made his first start in the RMC net.  The Paladins got goals from, Mike Clark, Nick Cregan and Brent Maurice.  Clark led the Paladins with a goal and assist to give him four points in his first three games.  RMC managed to score twice in six powerplays while giving up a short handed goal.  The Golen Hawks were unable to connect on 5 powerplays.

Brock 2 RMC 1     stats

The Paladins bounced back in the second game of the season against Brock.  Despite being outshout 47-20 the Paladins remained close to the Badgers thanks to the outstanding netminding of Elliott Mould.  Both teams were 0 for 5 on the powerplay in the back and forth match.  Jesse Bruni was the loan Paladin to put a puck past Badger goaltender Brian Harrison while Andrew Livey scored the winning goal for the Badgers.

York 9 RMC 3     stats

RMC opened the season against the York Yoemen who are ranked in the top 10 in the nation.  In a back and forth game the Paladins were outplayed on special teams as York netted 2 powerplay goals on two chances while RMC was 0 for 4 on the powerplay.  The Paladins were outshot 21-12 as Elliott Mould got the start in the Paladins goal.  Mike Clark, Adrian Hartly and Matthew Maurice scored for the Paladins while Clark lead the team in points with a goal and an assist.

RMC 5 Ryerson 3
The Paladins beat the Ryerson Rams 5-3 with an empty net goal to win the consolatiion final at the Brock tournament.  RMC got goals from Jordan Woodman, Tyler Mactavish, Adrian Hartly (2) andNick Cregan who sealed the deal with an empty netter with 52 seconds to go.  RMC goalie Blair Robertson stopped 33 of 36 Ryerson shots to collect the win while RMC fired 28 Shots at Ryerson goalies Braden Dean and Josh Gander.

Brock 4 RMC 0

After a hard fought, end to end, scoreless first period the Brock Badgers finally managed to solve Elliot Gould at the 13:16 mark of the period and never looked back.  The Badgers went on to record a 4-0 win against the scrappy Paladins.  The Elliot Mould turned asside 43 of 47 shots while RMC managed to direct 16 shots towards the Brock goal.
