The Mustangs jumped on the Paladins as they scored 4 goals on 8 shots in the first 12 minutes. After the fourth Mustang goal Blair Robertson came in to replace starter Elliot Mould. Robertson allowed 6 goals on 54 shots as RMC was outshot 62-28. the lone bright side for the Paladins was their penalty kill as they killed all 4 shorthanded situations while their powerplay went 0 for 5. 29 Nov WATERLOO 4 RMC 2 stats Returning home after a long hard road trip in Thunder Bay last weekend the Paladins hosted the Waterloo Warriors on Saturday afternoon. In a fast paced game taht featured a total of 60 shots on net the Paladins drobed a 4-2 decision to the Warriors. Elliot Mould got the start in goal for the Paladins turning aside 33 of the 37 shots he faced. The Paladins got goals from Matt Reid and Adrian Hartley. Both teams went 0 for 4 on the powerplay. 22 Nov LAKEHEAD 5 RMC 2 stats Lakehead Press Release 1 Press Release 2 game report The Paladins bounced back from Fridays performance to lose a hard fought second game 5-2 to the Thunderwolves Elliot Mould got the start and turned aside 32 of 37 shots while the Paladins only managed 12 shots on Thunderwolves goalier Cory McEachran. Mike Clark lead the Paladins with 2 poerplay goals as RMC went 2 for 4 on the powerplay and killed 3 of 4 short handed situations. Rookie Trevor Orris continued his solid play picking up another assist. 21 Nov LAKEHEAD 12 RMC 2 stats Againt the #3 ranked Thunderwolves the Paladins dropped a 12-2 decision. The Paladins were outshot 53-12. Elliott Moulod let in 8 goals on 41 shots in 46 Minutes. Blair Roberston did not fare any better as he allowed 4 goals in 14 minutes turning aside 8 of 12 shots. Mike Clark led the Paladins with 2 points while Trevor Orris and Jordan Woodman scored the RMC goals. 15 Nov UQTR 5 RMC 2 stats Elliot Mould got the start in net agains the perennial powerehouse UQTR Patriotes. Mould played an outstanding game turning aside 61 of 66 UQTR shots on net. The Paladins managed to fire 33 shots at UQTR goalie Danny Dallaire. RMC again took some undisciplined penalties but only allowed 2 powerplay goals in 6 short handed situation. On the powerplay RMC managed to connect on 1 of 3 opportunities. RMC got goals from Nick Cregan and Mike Clark who lead RMC in scoring with a goal and an assist. 14 Nov CONCORDIA 3 RMC 0 stats The Paladins opened up this weekends series with a hard fought loss against the Concordia stingers. In a penalty filled match, where the Paladins received 70 minutes in penalties compared to only 22 by the Stingers, the Paladins fought hard. They were goalie Blair Robertson turned aside 48 of the 51 shots he faced while RMC fired 22 at the Stingers net. The Paladins wer 0 for 6 on the powerplay while they killed 8 of 10 minor penalties they received. 9 Nov OTTAWA 5 RMC 0 stats The Paladins dropped thier sixth game of the season after being shutout by the Ottawa Gee Gee's at home 5-0. In a game where the Paladins were outshot 45-24 they could not get anything past Ottawa netminder Mathieu Blanchard. The Paladins ere 0 for 3 on the powerplay while they killed off 4 short handed situations. 8 Nov McGill 2 RMC 1 stats The Paladins dropped their 5th straight game in a tough 2-1 overtime loss against McGill. The Paladins were outsho 52-21 as rookie Blair Robertson kept the game close. The Paladins were 0 for 2 on the powerplay while they killed all four penalties they were called for. The Paladins got the goal from Jordan Woodman, his first of the season, but could not get the second goal past McGill goalie Patrice Godin. |
