| 19 Jan RMC 5 Ryerson 3 stats Shannon Goudie and Pat McDonald led the Paladins with two goals each while Louis Charland and Eric Rheaume each chipped in with 3 assists as the Paladins handed the last place Ryerson Rams a 5-3 defeat for their fouth win of the season. RMC outshot Ryerson 34-29, while going 1 for 3 on the powerplay and killing 4 of 5 penalties. 18 Jan U of T 6 RMC 3 stats In a penalty filled game Shannon Goudie and Eric Rheaume each notched a goal and 2 assists in a losing effort to the first place U of T Varsity Blues. RMC had 9 minor penalties while the U of T had 8 called against them. RMC managed to notch the only power play goal. RMC was outshot 50-22 at Varsity Arena. 11 Jan UQTR 6 RMC 3 stats In a hard fought game against the nations number three ranked University, the Paladins droped a 6-3 decision in Trois Rivieres. Despite being outshot 54-25 the Paladins got goals from Shannon Goudie, Eric Rheaume and Martin St Louis to take the Patriotes to the test. The Paladins power play units were kept off the score sheet in for attempts while RMC killed 5 of 7 penalties against. 10 Jan RMC 3 Concordia 2 stats Comming off a tough weekend the Paladins responed with a 3-2 win against Concordia on the road. Despite being outshot 37-26 the Paladins got goals from Eric Rheaume, Adrian Hartley and the game winner from Pat MacDonald in the effort. RMC was 3 for 3 on the penalty kill and was 1 for 5 on the power play. Their third win of the season moves them into sole posession of second place in the Mid-East Division with Queens losing their two games this weekend. 6 Jan McGill 5 RMC 3 stats Despite being outshot 57-19 the Paladins had a hard fought loss against the McGill Redmen. The Redmen required an empty net goal with 54 seconds left to ensure a 5-3 victory of the Paladins. The Paladins were down 4-2 but pulled to with in one with the goalie on the bench for an extra attacker as they scored with 1:14 left in the game but could not manage to get the equalizer. John Haggis made his return between the pipes stoping 52 of 56 shots he faced. Shannon Goudie led the Paladins with 1 goal and 2 assists while Eric Rehaume had a goal and an assit. The Paladins were 0 for 1 on the power play whlie McGill was 1 for 2 with the man advantage.. The Paladins dropped to 2-11-1 on the season. 5 Jan Ottawa 6 RMC 0 stats Goalie Elliott Mould made his first start of the regular season in the opneing game of the second half of the OUA season. Unfortunately for Mould the Ottawa Gee Gees spoiled his debut with a 6-0 defeat of the Paladins in Kingston. Mould stopped 32 of 38 shots he faced while the Paladins could not getany of thier 22 shots past the Ottawa goaltender. For the night RMC was 0 for 5 on the power play while they killed 1 of 3 penalties called against them. 1 Dec Windsor 8 RMC 1 stats The Lancers came back after the loss on Saturday to defeat the Paladins 8-1. The Paladins were outshot 38-29 by the Lancers. RMCs power play was 0 for 7 while they allowed 3 power play goals in 7 short handed situations. Louis Charland was the sole goal scorer notching his 8th goal of the season. 30 Nov RMC 3 Windsor 2 stats The Paladins marched into Windsor and defeated the Lancers 3-2 for their second win of the season. Led by Pat MacDonald's power play marker the Paladins got the wind despite being outshot 35-29. Shannon Goudie notched the game winner and the RMC team defense held off the Lancers as they pulled the goalie in an attempt to even the score. RMC was 1 for 4 on the power play while Windsor was 0 for 4. 17 Nov RMC 6 Waterloo 5 stats The Paladins notched their first win of the season by beating the Warriors 6-5 in front of their hometown fans. Led by Louis Charland who had 2 goals and an assist, the Paladins outshot the Warriors 44-39. Matt House scored his first goal of the season, a power play marker, to go along with his 7 asssists on the season. The Paladins were 1 for 4 on the power play while they killed 2 of 4 shorthanded situations. 16 Nov Western 8 RMC 1 stats The undefeated Western Mustangs marched into Constantine arena and continued thier solid play in the OUA by handing the Paladins a 8-1 loss. The Mustangs fired 35 shots at John Haggis during his 40 minutes of play, and then fired 12 shots at Ellliot Mould who saw his first action of the season. The Paladins managed to fire 27 shots towards the Mustang net. RMC was 0 for 6 on the power play while they allowed Western to score on 2 of 4 man advantages. |
