The Royal Military College of Canada Varsity Men's Hockey Team has announced that Kurt Matthewson has commited to RMC for the 2007-08 OUA season.
Kurt Matthewson is a 5�11�� 195lbs rugged forward born in 1986 from Carnduff, Sastacchewan who played last year with the Estevan Bruins and is set to join the RMC Palidins this year. Last year for Estevan, Matthewson totaled 13 goals and 11 assists for 24 points in 39 games along with 176 penalty minutes. He should bring some needed size and toughness up front for the Paladins in the OUA. Matthewson played for two seasons in the SJHL and one season with the Powell River Kings in the BCHL.
