He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Shirley Yarnell: daughter Melissa Yarnell of Livermore; son Kevin Yarnell of Livermore; brothers Gordon Yarnell of El Centro, Pete Yarnell of Pinetop, Ariz. and Paul Yarnell of El Cajon; mother Joyce Yarnell of Pinetop, Ariz.; and two grandchildren."
