Are urban legends fact or fiction? That's the question being asked at Pendleton University. When a series of murders begins to occur, some of the students begin to wonder. See, the murders were taken from "urban legends" that has been told for years around the school. This was a very interesting idea for a slasher flick. It's something a little bit different. That's why I enjoyed it more than the usual movies of this genre. Plenty of suspense and it has its share of fright.
There isn't anything overwhelmingly spectacular about this movie, but it still is enjoyable to see. A scary opening scene gets the movie off on the right foot. The picture never really bogs down. Better than I Know What You Did Last Summer, but still has a ways to go to be mentioned in the same sentence with Scream. |
