| This one may be Dustin Hoffman�s most popular movie and character. Stubborn and critical of every director he�s worked with, Hoffman stumbles on to a soap opera role...playing a woman. He feels better as a person while being Dorothy and begins to fall in love with one of co-workers (Jessica Lange). Bill Murray is Hoffman�s roommate and has his share of the comedy, but it�s Hoffman�s witty portrayal of Dorothy that tops the movie. Easily one of the best comedies ever made, Tootsie was nominated for 10 Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Actor (Hoffman). Lange one for Best Supporting Actress. |
