Brosnan's second outting as the famous secret agent is better than his debut. You can sense he is more comfortable as this Bond. He had to create his type of Bond in GoldenEye. Now, he gets to expand on that.
When a communications tycoon (Pryce) wants to take over the world, it's up to Bond to stop him. Pryce and his crew are located on an invisible sub, so they can't be tracked when any harm breaks loose. This mad man can control the headlines and is getting ready to wage a war between the Brits and the Chinese. Of course, Bond can't save the world by himself. A Chinese agent (Yeoh) lends a hand, and a few legkicks. This is the same formula as GoldenEye, except is goes more for action than it does for plot. You'll still have fun watching though. |
