Debut for the Next Generation gang is only sub-par. You can thankan uneven plot and mild action for that. The crew has to battle renegade Klighons and an evil doctor (McDowell), who is trying to get to the Nexus. I don't want to go into detail about the Nexus, because I was alittle confused.
Captain Kirk makes his final appearance in the film. After being a guest of honor aboard a new Enterprise, Kirk is shot into the past after rescuing the Enterprise from disaster. He eventually meets up with Picard, and both risk their lives to save the world, again. Eye-popping effects keep this slow-moving adventure from being pure crap. Also features the unpopular death of Captain James T. Kirk. |
