Gregory Peck and Lee Remick have unknowingly adopted the antichrist, who has taken the form of a small child named Damien. When freakish things begin to happen, Peck realizes something is wrong. With the help of a photographer (Warner), the two go on a journey to find the truth about Damien and how to stop him. Lots of chilling suspense throughout, though the pacing is a bit on the slow side. Jerry Goldsmith's eerie score netted him an Oscar. Scary, but never gory. A favorite during the Halloween season.
