Jerry Lewis wrote, directed, and starred in this Jekyll and Hyde takeoff. A geeky professor (Lewis) comes up with a formula that will change him into Buddy Love, a swinging Mr. Cool who can sing and dance, and impress the ladies.
Without a doubt Lewis' funniest film. He has denied repeatedly that the Love character is a Dean Martin impersonation, but it does seem to be. Features some very classic and hilarious moments. This was remade in 1996 by Eddie Murphy, but the original is far superior. Lewis gives one of the single greatest comedic performances in the history of cinema.
