Something stinks really bad. That something is MICKEY BLUE EYES, a dreadful film that plays off as a comedy, but what it really is, is competition for anesthesia. The trailer suggests this is a laugh riot. It wants you to think that seeing Hugh Grant try to pass himself off as a mobster will be funny. It's not funny, at all.
The movie spends so much time ripping off ANALYZE THIS, that it forgets what a comedy is supposed to do. I didn't laugh once. But I did keep checking the clock to see what time it was. They say counting sheep helps you get to sleep. I'll put MICKEY BLUE EYES up against any herd. Bah-hah-hah.
