The sequel you knew would be made. Anytime a movie makes over $300 million domestically, there's gonna be a sequel. The Lost World takes place 4 years after the disaster at the park.
Though the plot is not as good as the original, this movie boasts even better special effects and lots more action. The dinosaurs look better this time around. And Goldblum gets to take the spotlight, without Sam Neill bumbling around. This movie is a little darker than the first one. Spielberg has given this one more of an edge. He had to do something to make this somewhat different from Jurassic Park. And for all those T-Rex fans, you get to watch 2 wreak havoc this time around. And look out for those raptors. Strong cast easily surpasses that of the original's. |
