| The first in the very, very long series. This one actually has a few scares and the gore isn't as horrid as its sequels. The only '13th' flick that doesn't feature the hockey mask. The ending is pretty freaky and the music helps enhance the scares. However, there have been much better slasher flicks. And through most of the killings, we're always looking at the victim, with only the killer's weapon (knife, axe, spear) showing up on screen. The movie's a little slow in the beginning. |
