This comedy, with a Boyz N the Hood type feel, involves 2 guys chilling on a Friday. It isn't a regular Friday though, Craig (Ice Cube) and Smokey (Chris Tucker) get in a mess of trouble when they smoke up Big Worm's entire weed. Worm gives them until 10:00 p.m. to get his money before he comes to put a few bullets in them.
Ice Cube and Tucker work well together on screen. They appear as real-life buddies. Tucker is hilarious as the weed-puffin' Smokey. This movie put him on the map as a real comedian. It's pretty much a film about smokin' weed. This small, yet big hit film will get you in the laughing mood. |
