| Forrest Gump's adventurous journey that includes fighting in Vietnam, playing football at Alabama, and marrying his longtime crush. Definitely one of the greatest tales of all-time. Hanks is simply brilliant portraying the gifted Gump. The direction is also one for the books. The movie uses dazzling special effects as well, such are used to make Forrest appear he's shaking hands with JFK. It won the Oscar for Best Picture and Tom Hanks also took home an Oscar for Best Actor. This fun story with an unforgettable character will always be considered a classic. |
