Ah-nuld has battled many enemies, but none as powerful as pure Evil. The Devil has come back to find his bride on the eve of the Millenium. It's up to Arny to stop him. Anytime Arnold is the good guy, you know the bad guy isn't going to win, even if it is Satan himself. Though the plot is silly, the cast and the action are top notch. Gabriel Byrne has alot of fun as the "The Man". Kevin Pollack, who plays Arnold's sidekick, spouts off one-liners faster than you can blink. With a film this dark, thank goodness there is some comic relief.

Now onto the action. There is tons of it. Though it's not the action you think it is, or at least what I thought. I assumed it was going to be a bunch of cgi demons chasing Arnold, but instead it's all shootouts. And there's a nifty action piece near the end that just rocks.

In all, this is your basic run-of-the-mill actioneer. The plot is silly, the dialogue isn't great, and there is loads of action and violence. Throw in Ah-nuld, and you have a movie that is passable entertainment. Take Ah-nuld away, and you have a big wad of crap. Still, Byrne's portrayal as Mr. Evil along is worth the rentel.
