The sequel to the movie that started it all offers more action and a very exciting ground attack scene. The story is easily the best of the 3 films. Probably the most appealing movie out of the three. EMPIRE picks up where STAR WARS left off, and goes beyond that. We really get to know how evil Darth Vader is and that he is in fact Luke's father.
The film just has a great combination of action and romance. The ground attack scene alone is worth having the film on video. This movie is also the darkest of the three. Luke Skywalker and Han Solo have larger roles and we get better acquainted with them. They were introduced in STAR WARS and we get to know them in this movie. A huge winner at the box office, EMPIRE grossed over $100 million during its Special Edition run. It is the most entertaining of the 3 sagas. |
