Classic Kubrick story about nuclear war. When a crazed general gives the order to drop the A-bomb on the Soviets, the President must try and find a way to stop the bombing. Features many funny scenes including a dispute over a Coke machine. Peter Sellers plays 3 roles in the film. One as the President, a Captain, and the infamous Dr. Strangelove, whose right hand gives him the fits. George C. Scott is hilarious as a General who has more opinions and solutions to any problem imaginable. Also features Pickens' famous ride on the bomb. Dark humor abound in a film that earned 4 Oscar Nominations, including Best Director for one of the best, Stanley Kubrick.
