| Violent story about the harsh reality of living in the hood. The movie focuses on Tre Styles (Cuba Gooding Jr.), who's trying to survive in the hood. Laurence Fishburne plays his father. He does a good job as the one who's trying to teach him right from wrong. The film does have vicious waves coming from it, but it still tries to show the true message of how those violent situations take place. It achieves its goals with great success. Filled with guns, liquor, and violence, the movie succeeds in showing the truth, which is what makes the story so powerful. |
