| True story about the disaster of "Apollo 13" and how the crew manages to survive. All-star cast blended in with a sharp script makes for a good all-around story. Hanks, Sinise, and Harris are all strong in the leads. Howard's direction lends alot of realism to the audience. Nominated for Best Picture, this was Hanks' follow up to one of his other big hits Forrest Gump. |
